Lights Under Louisville 12/21/2025
We took a last minute road trip to Louisville to check out a magical underground Christmas light show. The hotel promised a heated pool but I think it was in fact refridgerated and also kind of gross in general. The continental breakfast was pretty decent though. The night we got there the wait to go through the cave was SEVERAL HOURS LONG. So we got up first thing in the morning and headed to the cave. It was pretty cool.
The line going into the cave. There were also ziplines down here.
Just getting into the caves, paying and of course reading the rules on the signs.
The brake lights on the vehicle ahead did not enhance my photos.
Trees and a tunnel that I think goes over to the zip line area.
Santa waving to the spelunkers checking out the lights.
Here's a cube with animated lights showing off a very cute Rudolph.
