Day One! 04/28/2025
The plan is to knock out 75 Hard adn finish on the day I run the Dayton Dragon's 5K and maybe hit a few of my yearly fitness goals along the way. Last year I finished zero of the goals LMAO one of which is 75 Hard. So I decided I would make either a WEBLOG or a video series to go along with it. If I do make videos they will land here. I haven't made one yet and it's day three but I am able to work on this big weblog while working so here it is. Workout 01. I will post a screen cap of my strava from my first ride from the challenge. What's amazing though is life really does not want me to knock out this challenge. Fifteen minutues into my ride I get a call from my BB who says our daughter is sick and needs picked up from school. I tell her I'm 15 minutes out and where I keep the spare keys to my truck so she can go get her. My daughter was faking it, she was just tired from the previous days trip to Moonville Tunnel. Workout 02. Another bicycle ride. This one I got to go without anyone in the bicycle trailer so it was nice being able to ride without all that extra resistance. I know that's better for my TRAINING but it's been months since I've been on a bike without the trailer. This day in particular was very difficult as I was also running around trying to get some tasks accomplished for my Mom with only two days left before the deadline. That's my own dumb ass fault for being incompetent but I got it all done and knocked out day one of 75 Hard. GO BACK
