I just found these Rampage Babies stuffed in a box while cleaning out my childhood home. This project is largely for my mental health as I am struggling with my Mom landing in a nursing home and taking on the grim task of cleaning out her house stuffed with 50 years of secrets. About 30 yeears of those secrets are mine but I knew about those horrors, mostly. I completely forgo I had these bad billies and would have totally had them out on display for years had I remembered they existed. These were promotion items for Rampage Universal Tour on the PS1, N64 and Gameboy Color. There is very little information about these items...a few are on ebay for a hefty asking price. I tried looking on youtube but there's hardly any videos about this particular Rampage game. There's tons of videos and knowledge about Rampage World Tour. Unfortunately Boris the Rhino is all jacked up. He's got some sticky dark goop of unkown origin on his left arm and mouth and the horn material is flaking off.
Here's a better angle so you can see Boris' grody face a bit better.
Look at this awesome Mario Pinball Land pen. It used to light up purple I think but the button batteries exploded. This is a note for myself to look at easily in the future, G10A batteries x3, when I decide I want to replace them. I tossed them out and cleaned out the battery bay.
This is a cool Gameboy color keychain next to my personal Gameboy color. This is what I got for my 16th birthda and I love it. The keychain shows all the colors that were available. Very cool.
I actually have three of these Mario Tennis Keychains and will eventually get a new photo of my can of Mario Tennis tennis balls. This is the only version of the game I have to pair with these cool keychains.
This is a cool Wario wallet. This isn't exactly something I would walk around town with but it sure does look cool.
I've never played Dino Crisis but maybe I should now that I am a little bit older and I can wrap my head around the tank controls. Maybe when I play it I will have my Dino Crisis wrist watches on each hand.
Look at that awesome pin/badge for Super Mario RPG. I love that game and it is my childhood copy. I first rented it from a Blockbuster and palyed the hell out of it over a weekend and ended up buying a copy. I still have the manual somewhere...really wish I kept my game boxes back in the day. Wixh I thought of that when I Was a goofy kid.
I found this awesome pop up Tiny Tank mailer earlier today (11/02/2024) while working on cleaning out my Mom's house. It sat in a ring binder full of printed out FAQs from gamefaqs for untold centuries waiting to be dug up again. That's how it got that damage on the back. That's kind of lame but this is still neat. I love this game and remember first learning about it in the Playstation Underground CD magazine. This is the game I played after recovering from my multi day long migraine in high school. Man, someday I need to actually sit down and beat it. I've played the hell out of it but usually got stuck as a kid. I'm sure as an adult I can clear this bad boy.
I also found this Resident Evil the movie post card. I'm sure there's more of these stuffed somewhere. This particular one was stuck up on my wall or part of my desk with some sticky tack. I would have photographed the back but it was pretty gross looking. Some of the cool shit that I have carelessy destroyed is truly tragic. Wait till I get to the Wind Waker Link bobble head. Off, that was a tragic day.
This is my awesome Twisted Metal Black poster. It has been up on my ceiling since the game was being promoted in K Mart a million years ago. You better believe when I peel that off of the ceiling it's going right into a frame. I have no idea what's on the other side but it's probably not as cool if that's what I chose to display. I bet there's a pound of dust up on that other side though. To be honest I should probably be doing this project with a respirator.
This was probably my coolest poster which is why it was tacked up to the wall. It got banged up and reapplied to the wall a million times. You better believe I'm going to frame this sucker and keep it displayed in the gameroom. I'm not sure why this one never got moved over to behin with when I first started framing stuff.
This was way cooler in 2005 when it was a useful calendar. As the decades have worn on its still pretty cool if you want a bunch of PR photos of random people playing Nintendo DS in coffee shops or Gameboy Advance on fake dates. Which I do.
Looks like the pen really is mightier than the sword! This is a pen styled like a CARTRIDGE or a bullet IDFK I'm not super gun man. I've never played a Max Payne game but this was a gift from a bro so it's a highly valued piece in the game hoard.
This was where all of my PS2 games lived until I outgrew it then they all landed on a typical DVD media tower. Then this is where my original Xbox games lived until they outgrew it. Then I took this off the wall and put it somewhere in storage. Initially I kept my favorite games at the top so for quite some time Metal Gear Solid 2 was at the top of the stack.
I have two sets of these Mario Party fuzzy dice. They're pretty cool but an absolute magnet for dust!
Here's a little cardboard standee thing promoting Golden Sun The Lost Age. I've never played it but this thing is pretty cool.
These are giant replica's of CD jewelcases. They're a bit more than a foot by foot square. If I had a tape measure downstairs I'd get the actul dimensions but I will save that for another day. The Spyro one is destroyed becasue it was actually out on display for decades.
These are static cling posters but I framed them instead of sticking them to a window to get sun bleached like a maniac. They look pretty cool.
Just like the Metroid posters this Four Swords Adventures poster is a window static cling poster.
This was a very early Pikachu preorder bonus. Could have been from Hey You! Pikachu or even Red and Blue. It's Chubby old style Pikachu.
A cool Ape Escape cardboard promo thing. Not sure if this is just piece of some sort of promo material or waht but it's pretty neat.
This is my Playstation wall clock. It's on my wall. I cannot stand the sound of clocks ticking so there's no batteries in there. They drive me absolutely mad.
This is a Donkey Kong Country for the Gameboy Advance vinyl wall scroll. This thing is so cool, I love it.
The only thing cooler than my Donkey Kong Country vinyl wall scroll is my Legend of Zelda A link to the Past wall scroll. That thing is also so cool, I love it as well.
Here's a can of Mario Tennis balls, I mentioned them earlier. They're pretty cool.
I have no idea what got on the lid of the Mario Tennis balls. I probably spilled a coke on them like a mongoloid. Oops.
Here's a Syphone Filter poster. I've never actually played a Syphon Filter game. I did play a demo for the first game about 200 times and really enjoyed it but never ended up picking up the full game.
I've had a few people online offer to buy this thing from me. But like all the stuff on this particular page it was something my Mom gave me so back off goobers this is my really cool piece of cardboard. Tomba is a cool game and I saw a video for it on the Playstation Underground CD magazine and ended up buying it when it came out. Tomba is pretty cool.
This is a pretty cool Starfox 64 poster. I framed it and it looks cool on the wall. I like to glance at it from time to time.
This is a Diddy Kong Racing poster in a frame it's on the wall next to the Starfox 64 poster. I occasionally glance at it too. I have never played Diddy Kong racing and I'm pretty sureI never will unless I just happen to have a copy of the game land in my game room for like $1. That's right I'd buy that for a dollar.
Here's something that's not that cool but kinda is cool. It's a 989 Studios playstation back pack. I don't even remembe what 989 Studios made but I know I played games that they made. I still remember the bootup logo noise from the beginning of games or commercials or something.
Yeah, I had to stop what I was doing and look that up. That's exactly what is stuck in my head. I think I might have heard it the 200 times I played the Syphon Filter demo. I don't think I have too many games that they actually made. I think Blasto is the only other game they made that I ever played or put any time into. Probably heard it in commercials a million times.
This is an Excite Bike 64 shirt compressed into that black. That is neat. I've never played this game and have very little desire too. But for like .50 cents at a yard sale I would pick up, kick the tires and light the fires.
This is a pretty cool cap. I swear I have another one hidden somewhere. Who knows it may be lost to time. Maybe it was stolen by a Gameboy Advance fan with no sense of style, it's not a particularly attractive hat.
Now this is a sharp looking ball cap. I wouldn't wear this one around either but if I had to choose between the two I'd put this one on. Maybe I'll wear it at a game convention someday.
Here's a Playstation sticker that was on my teenage bedroom for literally decades until today (11/12/2024)When I plucked it off the door while cleaning out my Mom's house.
Now this is the most tragic piece in my collection. I loved this thing and it was on top of my TV way back in the day. I bumped my desk which my TV was sitting on and knocked this thing down. Link's skinny fragile knees just couldn't take it and he exploded into pieces. I've kept him in a drawer ever since. This thing was sooo cool.
Found this poster rolled up. It's double sided with Jak 3 on this side.
The other side has Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal.
I've found a few of these PSX magnets tucked around the house.
I have no idea how this flip puzzle works and I don't want to break it by fiddling with it.
pokemon flip thing red side
Here's the other side.
Here's a Pokemon Silver/Gold pre order plushie. I think this is an Elekid, right?
I am not sure why I took these little Gamecubes off of the string of party lights but I did. Maybe the lights were damaged? IDK. I've only found two of them which does not bode well.
I found these Gamecube Lanyards and another Mario Tennis keychain.
Tomb Raider on HOME VIDEO pin. I guess this counts as video game related if the Resident Evil movie poster cards count.
I thought this was really neat. Reserve Windows 98 and get King's Quest VII! Now that's a deal.
I was going through these YugiOh cards to see if any were worth anything, I was quickly bored btw and stopped, but I found ANOTHER video game advertisement thing hidden in the stack. Here's a sticker for Crash Bandicoot. It had the blue sticky tack on the back of it that means I did have it on display at some point. I do not recall ever seeing this and have no idea it got tucked into the stack of TCG cards I got out of the back of Shonen Jump magazine.
