Man I have been having fun messing around with tiktok. I guess I could have just been putting up instagram reels this entire time. These videos will be going to tiktok, insta and youtube but it's been fun messing with them on my phone. I didn't realize how much video editing I could get away with on just an old smart phone. The best part has been recording me playing like 10 minutes of NES games because it's getting me down in the game room and actually playing a game from time to time.
It's not that cool that I have to make this time and feel rushed about it but its still been nice to actually play games. I've gotten a few requests for other games which has been cool. The problem is that now I'm all interested in Nintendo tapes which makes me want to collect nintendo tapes but I have zero nintendo tape funds. That's pretty lame, It looks like there's a game called 8 Eyes which I have seen around before but never looked at. It looks like it was heavily inspired by Castlevania but you are a guy with an attack falcon. That's pretty cool. I bet if I looked around I could find it for around the $10 mark which would align with my project $10 below goal of collecting decent NES titles fro $10 or less.
It's been a while since I've gone on a good old fashioned NES game hunt but I have to stave off that desire. But perhaps I can start a list of games that are in the range of $10 that have dodged my shelf so far. At the tope of that list we do have 8 Eyes and Soloman's Key. Maybe I need to make a page in my back pocket note book for some NES titles to keep an eye out for. What could it hurt to go to two or three game shops this week with the kids just to see if they have what I'm looking for under that $10 asking price. Yeah, man it can't hurt to just cruise around and look. Just because I see one of these titles doesn't mean I need to actually grab it.
