Hayride 10-20-2024

We took the kids to this cute little Hayride on the edge of Centerville.
My Son likes this scarecrow

My son really thought this screcrow was neat. This was in a little walk through display in the line for the hayride.
MY daughter thought this witch was pretty

My daughter thought this was a pretty witch.

Walk through display

A youth in a monkey mask
This horrifying monkey man exploded out of the forest delivering a healthy dose of heart wrenching fear.

A Frankenstein
This Frankenstein scared the bejeebers out of me.

Disobediant skeletons

I told my kids these were the skeletons of the kids that didn't listen and stay seated for the entire ride.

Forest wizard
I think I've seen this guy sleaping in a patch of woods behind a Storage locker place.

Another Forest wizard

I swear I saw this guy downtown washing his socks in a water fountain.

A hot air balloon took off
While the kids were bouncing around on a giant inflatable pumpkin I saw this hot air balloon taking off. That was pretty neat. There was also a petting zoo area which was pretty cool. The donkeys were very friendly and so were the goats. These particular goats were less hideous than most terrifying cloven hooved creatures. There was also a trio of women dressed like the Witches from Hocus Pocus. Everyone was afraid to interact with them. I was afraid they were going to ask for money if my kids took pictures with them. They did a really good job acting the part but it was kinda awkward. All in all this was a 10/10 Halloween family activity. THey didn't have any freshly made kettle corn which was not that cool.
